"A PIPE IS BORN"

In January 2005, Jan Andersson, the secretary of the Pipe Club of Sweden, approached us with a request for a pipe made to his own design. We were happy to give it a try, and as the work went on, we took pictures along the way and sent to Jan to keep him updated.

Some of the pictures below were used by Jan in an article in the PCoS newsletter "Rökringar". As we suppose there might be an interest in seeing the complete series, we decided to post it here, with descriptive texts.

As these pictures were taken a couple of years ago, there are some things we do different nowadays. On the whole, however, this is still more or less how we go about making a pipe.
